Ok, so this is officially my first journal entry ever. I'm at a loss for words....erm... I bet no one's actually reading this, anyways, but in case you are, thanks so much for giving me 1500 pageviews, more than I ever thought I'd get!!

    So anyways, I just want to express my frustration: I've been browsing DA a lot recently (while pretending I had no homework) and I've found a lot of amazing new artists and some positively brilliant artwork. And I've been really inspired, particularly with "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," which was based on a picture of Darmila's. But then again, I'm also feeling really intimidated. I know what styles I like, but I just never have any real ideas when I sit down to start drawing, and I don't know what kind of artwork I could do in Photoshop... You know how so many people have such amazing artwork that they did on Photoshop? Yes, well, that intimidates me.

    I took Graphic Design in school last year, and I learned Illustrator and some Photoshop, and this year I'm doing Photoshop in Graphic Design II. But I still feel like I don't really know HOW to use it, what its scope and ability is...Sometimes I feel like I should take Art instead of Graphic Design II in school, but then I feel like I'll learn enough to do amazing artwork, but then I feel like I won't ever...

    So I just thought I'd express my current frustration and search for imagination and creativity art-wise. Hah so much for being at a "loss for words." Does anyone out there *if you happen to be reading this* have any ideas/support/comments/personal sentiments?
